Sometimes the NDIA will fund support coordination in a participant’s plan. This is a specific funding section provided under Capacity Building Supports.

Support coordination funding is provided to those who may need support to get their plan up and running.

If you have this funding, here at Your Voice, a support coordinator will help you to understand your or your family member’s plan (what funding has been provided and how flexible the funding is) and help to find creative ways to use your funding to meet your goals.

We will help to find providers for formal supports, provide guidance in which assessments may be needed to allow for ongoing funding, and help to keep an eye on budgets.

We also help to navigate funding options during significant changes in life as well as help to prepare for routine reviews of funding (if needed).

Not only support to use NDIS plan funding, a support coordinator will help you to source alternative modes of funding where appropriate (e.g., Medicare, Centrelink, Grants).

Every NDIS participant is unique, and every NDIS plan is different, which is why we work with you to provide a tailored approach to support coordination.
